The wood finish looks way nicer on my counter than the plastic block I had before, and it's solid enough that it doesn't slide around when I pull a knife out. Four knives is exactly what I needed for my daily users.
The slots hold the blades upright so they don't knock against each other, and the wood grips the handles snugly enough that nothing wobbles. Four knives is exactly what my counter needed without eating up more space.
The natural wood finish looks way better on my counter than the plastic block I had before. Blades slide in at an angle so they're not resting on the edges, which was the whole reason I switched.
